Ahmedabad: The Sabarmati river has been witnessing heavy inflow of water, with over 1 lakh cusecs released between 12 noon and 6 pm on Monday. Due to this, the river passing through Ahmedabad city is set to carry a higher volume of water. To match the inflow, gates of the Vasna Barrage have been open for the past two days, releasing over 30,000 cusecs as of 11 pm today. Ahmdabad: Due to release of water from Dharoi dam in North Gujarat, 25 gates of Vasna barrage are opened in Ahmedabad. Downstream areas of Vatva, Vejalpur, Daskroi, Dholka are alerted to be vigilant.
