Ahmedabad: The Sabarmati river has been witnessing heavy inflow of water, with over 1 lakh cusecs released between 12 noon and 6 pm on Monday. Due to this, the river passing through Ahmedabad city is set to carry a higher volume of water. To match the inflow, gates of the Vasna Barrage have been open for the past two days, releasing over 30,000 cusecs as of 11 pm today.
