Rajesh Power, Gujarat Govt Ink MoUs for Rs 4,754 Cr Projects at VGRC Mehsana

Mehsana: Rajesh Power Services Limited (RSPL), a company dealing in the Power Transmission & Distribution sector, signed multiple Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with the Government of Gujarat on the inaugural day of the Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conference (VGRC) 2025. The MoUs envisage a cumulative investment worth Rs 4,754 crore.

As per the company, the MoUs were signed by Mr. Kaxil Patel, Director and Chief Financial Officer, Rajesh Power Services Limited, and Mr. Ajay Prakash, IAS, Managing Director, Gujarat Power Corporation Limited.

As part of the MoUs, Ahmedabad-based Rajesh Power Services will establish and execute turnkey projects for the conversion of overhead HT (High Tension) lines into underground cable networks in different regions of Gujarat. These projects have the potential to generate employment for over 33,000 people in the coming years, highlighting the State Government’s commitment to inclusive economic growth and skill development in Gujarat.

Organised by the Government of Gujarat, the first-ever Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conference 2025 is being held at Ganpat University in Mehsana from October 9 to 10, 2025. The two-day business summit was inaugurated today by Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel and Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw (Railways, Information & Broadcasting, Electronics & Information Technology), in the presence of Pralhad Joshi, Union Minister of New & Renewable Energy and Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, other state authorities, and industry leaders.
