SpiceJet announces daily direct Diwali flights to Ayodhya from Ahmedabad, other cities

Ahmedabad: SpiceJet today announced that it will operate special daily non-stop Diwali flights connecting Ayodhya with Delhi, Bengaluru, Ahmedabad, and Hyderabad, starting October 8, 2025.
To be rolled out in phases, these new services will provide devotees and tourists easy access to Ayodhya and the opportunity to visit the Shri Ram Temple during the auspicious Diwali festival. According to the airline’s website, the Ahmedabad–Ayodhya flight will commence operations from October 28, 2025.
As per the flight schedule, the Ahmedabad–Ayodhya service will depart from Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport (SVPIA) at 10:20 am and arrive in Ayodhya around 12:25 pm. The flight will operate daily. On the return journey, except on Wednesdays, the flight will depart from Ayodhya at 12:55 pm and reach SVPIA at 2:50 pm. On Wednesdays, it will depart Ayodhya at the same time but land around 3:10 pm. The Ayodhya–Ahmedabad flight will start operations on October 26.
Additionally, flights from Mumbai are also under consideration to further enhance connectivity during the festive and winter season.
