Land acquisition process underway for Dahod, Dwarka airports: Gujarat govt

Dwarka: The Gujarat government has started the process of acquiring land for greenfield airports at Dahod and Dwarka, the Gujarat goeveemn stated during the monsoon season of Parlimant that enede on Wednesday.
In a written reply tabled in the Assembly on Tuesday, the government said that pre-feasibility studies, land identification, and Obstacle Limitation Surface (OLS) surveys for both sites have already been completed over the past year and now land qusison has begun.
The state also informed the House that 205 acres of government and private land have been acquired and handed over to the Airports Authority of India (AAI) for the work expansion of Keshod airport. Similar land acquisition processes are in progress for the expansion of Bhavnagar and Porbandar airports.
Earlier the state goemebet has announsed that it plans to built 11 new aiport inculaing in toorits detaion like Dhordo, Dholavira, Palitana and business hubs like MOrbi, Ankleshwar. DeshGujarat
