PM Modi to hold road show in Ahmedabad on August 25

Ahmedabad: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be visiting his home state of Gujarat next week during which he is expected to hold a road show in the city before addressing a public meeting in Nikol area.

As per the tentative schedule, PM will arrive at Ahmedabad airport at 4 PM and proceed towards Khodaldham Ground via Haridarshan crossroads, leading the 1.6-km long roadshow. Following this, he will address a public meeting at the venue. Officials expect that nearly one lakh people will greet the Prime Minister for the roadshow and the rally.

Initially, the programme included only a public rally, but a roadshow has now been added to the itinerary. From the airport to Indira Circle, 12 stages have been set up where cultural programmes will be showcased to welcome the Prime Minister.

State Health Minister Rishikesh Patel informed that PM Modi will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for developmental projects worth around ₹5,500 crore in Ahmedabad. These projects include works related to railways, roads, buildings, and infrastructure development.

Highlighting people’s enthusiasm, Patel said, “Whenever the Prime Minister visits, he brings with him the gift of development worth thousands of crores. Citizens are eagerly waiting to welcome him.”

On August 26, PM Modi is also scheduled to inaugurate Maruti Suzuki’s EV Hub, from where electric vehicles are expected to be exported to 100 countries. DeshGujarat
