Surat to launch i-ATMS portal for property transfers under Disturbed Areas Act
August 23, 2025
Surat: The Surat Collector’s office is launching a new i-ATMS (Integrated Application Tracking Management System) portal to make the property transfer process under the Disturbed Areas Act faster, more transparent, and simpler. This new portal is an upgraded version of the existing i-ATS portal with added features, allowing applicants to access all services from home in the future.
As per the law, applications for property transfers must be decided within three months (90 days). However, in Surat city, both sub-divisional offices usually issue approvals for most transfers within the same community in just 7 to 15 days. With the new portal, the process is expected to become even faster. Applicants can log in and apply online. The facility of auto-generated self-declarations will reduce unnecessary expenses. Required documents can be submitted online from home, and fees can be paid through UPI/net banking. The portal will also be easily accessible on mobile devices. Applicants will not need to visit the office, making the entire process more transparent. Immediate email notifications will be sent regarding missing documents or queries. DeshGujarat
