5 new IPS allocated Gujarat cadre, 4 Gujarat candidates allocated North Eastern cadres

Gandhinagar: In exercise of powers conferred by sub-rule (1) of rule-5 of the Indian Police Service (Cadre) Rules, 1954, the Central government has allocated/determined Gujarat cadre to following candidates allocated to the Indian Police Service on the basis of the results of the Civil Services Examination, 2023:—

-Prakhar Kumar, rank 92, general category candidate, declared  home-state Jharkhand (Prakhar Kumar was Digital Analyst in KPMG as intern and Computer Engineer from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra)

-Kuhoo Garg, rank 178, general category candidate, declared home-state  Uttarkhand (daughter of IPS Ashok Kumar, former DGP of Uttarakhand who is VC at Spots University in Haryana, Kuhoo is Badminton player)

-Patel Aniket Kamleshbhai, rank 183, general category candidate, declared  home-state Gujarat

-Panna Karankumar Mansukhbhai, rank 486, general category candidate, declared  home-state Gujarat

-Deepak Yadav, rank 518, OBC candidate, declared home-state  Haryana

The candidates who declared Gujarat as their home-state but allocated other State cadres include 488 rank general category candidate Patoliya Raj Bhikhubhai  and 490 rank general category candidate Jainil Jagdishbhai Desai who are allocated Manipur cadre, 506 rank general category candidate Gohil Kanchanben Maninhbhai who has been allocated Nagaland cadre and 702 rank Schedule Caste candidate Amrani Aditya Sanjay who is given Assam Meghalaya cadre.
