Sabarmati: A fire broke out early this morning at the under-construction Sabarmati Bullet Train Station in Ahmedabad. The incident occurred around 6:30 am on the roof of a section of the station currently being built. Upon receiving information about the incident, 14 fire brigade vehicles were immediately dispatched to the scene. The fire was brought under control after two hours of effort.
According to an official from the National High-Speed Rail Corporation, “Early this morning, around 6:30 am, a fire was reported at the roof shuttering of a part of the construction site of the Sabarmati Bullet Train station. No injuries or casualties have been reported.”
While the exact cause is yet to be determined, a preliminary probe suggests that welding sparks from temporary shuttering work may have triggered the blaze. Fire brigades swiftly brought the situation under control. NHSRCL officials are present at the site, closely monitoring developments. DeshGujarat
