Ahmedabad: Coldplay concert is going to be held at Narendra Modi Stadium at Motera on January 25 and 26. More than two lakh people are expected to attend this two-day concert.

A total of 3825 police personnel including 14 DCPs, 25 ACPs, 63 PIs, 142 PSIs and 3581 head constables will be deployed inside and outside the event venue. Along with this, a team of NSG commandos will also be deployed.

Since there are lakhs of spectators inside the stadium, the police will also keep an eye on their movements. For which a special control room has been set up. A special team has also been formed to continuously monitor the 270 cameras installed inside the stadium. The team will monitor and if anyone is found suspicious, the policeman at the nearest location will be informed immediately.Spectators coming to the concert will be able to take their purses or medical items inside. Before the audience enters the stadium, there will be physical checking, checking of purses, bags at the gate. After which they will be checked with a metal detector while entering.

There will be 11 medical domes, 7 ambulances, 2 mini hospitals (with 3 beds), 6 information desks.

Children below 5 years of age will not be allowed to enter this concert. Along with this, ear plugs will be provided to the audience.
The concert will start from 5.15 pm and will end at 10 pm. The audience will be given entry to the stadium from 2 pm.

The road from Janpath T to Motera and from Krupa Residency to Motera will be closed from 12.30 pm.

On January 25 and 26, from 12.30 pm, the road from Janpath T to Motera Stadium main gate via Krupa Residency T to Motera T will be closed for vehicular traffic. This road will remain closed for vehicular traffic until the concert is over. Drivers can use the alternative route from Tapovan Circle to ONGC roundabout via Visat T to Janpath T to Power House to Prabodh Raval Circle. They can travel via Krupa Residency, Sharan Status roundabout and Bhat Koteshwar Road towards Apollo Circle.

A total of 14 private parking lots have been set up within 2.5 kilometers from the stadium. They will be able to park their vehicles with the help of a mobile application ‘Show My Parking’. Out of these 14 parking plots, two parking plots inside the stadium are reserved for VIP and VVIP. While the remaining 12 are reserved for spectators. The capacity of 16 thousand vehicles in 14 plots.

Metro is the best option to reach the stadium. One can reach Motera Metro from any metro station in the city. So the metro will be the best option for people coming from outside. Motera Metro station is 300 meters away from Gate No. 1 of the stadium. So people coming by metro will be able to reach the gate by getting down from Motera Metro station and walking 300 meters in 10 minutes due to the crowd. Metro tickets can also be booked online from the Ahmedabad Metro application. Metro will be available every 7 minutes. The metro plan will be announced on Thursday.

60 fire marshals will be on duty inside the stadium. The fire department of the municipality has told the organizers of Coldplay that 60 trained fire marshals should be arranged. So that people can be saved in any situation. And the fire safety audit report should also be submitted to the municipality by the organizer of Coldplay. A fire alarm system should be installed so that a signal can be given through audio and visual means in any situation. All exit doors should be kept open. There should be enough space to protect the temporary structure from fire. Flammable materials should be stored in a safe place. The electrical wiring done on a temporary basis should also be adequately checked. Adequate fire safety facilities should be developed where food is prepared. The flow of water used in firefighting should be sufficient. Work should be done in coordination with security personnel and fire safety people. People should not be allowed more than the capacity. A command center with an advanced monitoring system should be set up.
