Surat: The third season of the Indian Street Premier League (ISPL), a T10 tennis-ball cricket tournament featuring eight celebrity-owned teams, will be held in Surat from January 9 to February 6, 2026. For the first time, ISPL matches will be held outside Mumbai, taking place at the Lalbhai Contractor Stadium in Surat.

The league will witness the arrival of Millennium Star Amitabh Bachchan and God of Cricket Sachin Tendulkar in Surat. Amitabh Bachchan is among the team owners, along with Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar, and Hrithik Roshan, who own their respective teams.

Trials for the third season have begun across 101 cities and will continue until November 5. This is nearly double the reach of last season, which covered 55 cities, and aims to uncover cricketing talent from all corners of India. Trials have extended beyond major cities like Mumbai and Delhi to smaller towns such as Ambikapur, Rameswaram, and Latur, ensuring aspiring cricketers nationwide have a fair opportunity.

Dr. Naimesh Desai, Cricket Secretary of the Surat District Cricket Association (SDCA), confirmed that all eight teams will participate. The association’s leadership, including President Kanaiyabhai Contractor, Minister Hitesh Patel, Vice-President Amit Gajjar, and committee members, are working tirelessly to ensure the tournament’s success.

The matches will follow a 10-over format using tennis balls, with the champion team winning ₹1 crore and the runners-up receiving ₹50 lakh.

With trials in 101 cities and an expanded squad size, every talented player, whether from metropolitan areas or remote regions, gets a fair chance. Over 4.4 million registrations highlight the league’s rising popularity and excitement.”
