Three Bangladeshi women held for illegal stay in Ankleshwar

Ankleshwar: The Local Crime Branch, along with GIDC Police, has arrested three Bangladeshi women living illegally in Laxman Nagar in the Sarangpur area of the town and has initiated legal proceedings against them. Police suspect that the women entered India without valid visas, possibly through infiltration.
Bharuch Crime Branch personnel had received a tip-off that two Bangladeshi women were residing in the Royal Building, Laxman Nagar on Sarangpur-Rajpipla Road. Acting on this tip-off, the police carried out a search operation in the area and located three women who did not have valid visas to stay in India.
The arrested women have been identified as Ruqaiya Purkan Rashid Sheikh, resident of Dhaka, Bangladesh; Parveen Ohal Abdul Sattar Sheikh, resident of Josore Post, Dhaka, Bangladesh; and Runa Mohammed Sheikh, resident of Norail, Bangladesh. Police suspect that the women entered India and then came via Ahmedabad before reaching Ankleshwar. The Crime Branch has handed over the women to GIDC Police for further investigation. DeshGujarat
