Rajnath Singh Attends ‘Shaurya Vijay Utsav’ in Bhuj, Lauds Indian Army’s Valor and Adaptability

Bhuj (Kutch):  On the eve of Vijaya Dashami, Raksha Mantri Rajnath Singh today attended the ‘Shaurya Vijay Utsav’ organized by the Indian Army at the district headquarters in Bhuj, the border district of Gujarat.

The Defence Minister shared dinner with jawans and witnessed a series of impressive performances, including cultural displays and martial art demonstrations by Army personnel. The evening also featured a grand drone show that lit up the skies over Bhuj.

Addressing the gathering, Rajnath Singh described Bhuj and Kutch not merely as geographical locations but as symbols of national pride and sacrifice. “This land has witnessed the unmatched bravery of our soldiers during times of war. The patriotism of the people of Kutch is truly inspiring,” he said.

Speaking on the evolving nature of warfare, the Raksha Mantri underlined the importance of technological adaptation and mental preparedness. “Technology keeps changing. What was modern yesterday becomes outdated today. Along with traditional warfare, we now face complex challenges like terrorism, cyber warfare, drone attacks, and information warfare. In such times, not only weapons but mental strength, updated knowledge, and quick adaptability are equally essential,” he said.

He emphasized that wars are not won by weapons alone but by willpower, discipline and rigorous training. “I urge you to continuously adopt new technologies and make training a way of life. I know that you already practice this discipline with utmost dedication,” Singh added.

The ‘Shaurya Vijay Utsav’ was celebrated as a tribute to the courage, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment of the Indian Army personnel guarding the nation’s borders.
