Which places in Gujarat might get rainfall as per IMD forecast till Sept 21?

Surat: The southwest monsoon has started withdrawing from the country, and the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has stated that conditions are favourable for further retreat from some parts of Rajasthan, Punjab, and Gujarat during the next two days.
However, the withdrawal might bring a fresh spell of light to moderate rains in Gujarat over the next seven days. According to the IMD bulletin, most districts of the state are likely to receive light rainfall during the next two days till September 16, while Banaskantha, Sabarkantha, Mehsana, Patan, Morbi, and Surendranagar are expected to remain dry.
From September 17, light thunderstorms with lightning and surface winds of 30–40 kmph accompanied by light to moderate rain are very likely at isolated places in all the districts of North Gujarat region — namely Banaskantha, Patan, Mehsana, Sabarkantha, Gandhinagar, Aravalli, Kheda, Ahmedabad, Anand, Panchmahal, Dahod, and Mahisagar; in all the districts of South Gujarat region — namely Vadodara, Chhota Udepur, Narmada, Bharuch, Surat, Dang, Navsari, Valsad, and Tapi; and in Daman, Dadra and Nagar Haveli.
On September 18, similar conditions are expected at isolated places in North Gujarat, South Gujarat, and Saurashtra-Kutch districts, including Surendranagar, Rajkot, Jamnagar, Porbandar, Junagadh, Amreli, Bhavnagar, Morbi, Dwarka, Gir Somnath, Botad, Kutch, and in Diu.
On September 19, light thunderstorms with lightning and surface winds of 30–40 kmph accompanied by light to moderate rain are very likely at isolated places across North Gujarat, South Gujarat, and Saurashtra-Kutch districts, along with Daman, Dadra and Nagar Haveli, and Diu.
On September 20, light to moderate rain or thundershowers are very likely at many places in all the districts of North Gujarat; at most places in South Gujarat; and at a few places in Saurashtra-Kutch, along with Daman, Dadra and Nagar Haveli, and Diu.
On September 21, light to moderate rain or thundershowers are very likely at many places in North Gujarat; at many places in South Gujarat; and at a few places in Saurashtra-Kutch, along with Daman, Dadra and Nagar Haveli, and Diu.
The IMD bulletin also stated that yesterday’s low-pressure area over north Telangana and adjoining Vidarbha has become less marked as of 0530 hrs IST today, September 15, 2025. However, the associated cyclonic circulation persists and is now seen over East Vidarbha and the neighbourhood, extending up to 3.1 km above mean sea level and tilting southwestwards with height.
