Vadodara Visa Consultancy Manager Booked for Fraud After Youth Deported from Albania
September 14, 2025
Vadodara: A complaint has been filed at Gorva police station against the operator of V4U Visa Consultancy, located in Sarabhai Campus, for allegedly cheating a Porbandar youth by providing him a fake visa.
According to the complaint lodged by Manuben Pravinbhai Sigadia of Chhayagam, Porbandar, her son Anil had approached Girish Chandra Shah, representative of the consultancy, for a visa and work permit to Albania. Shah reportedly demanded ₹6 lakh for the process. The amount was paid in full, and Anil traveled to Albania on January 23, 2025.
However, when Anil arrived at Tirana Airport, Albanian authorities checked his documents and found that his visa was fake. He was immediately deported back to India on another flight.
After his return, Anil contacted the consultancy, where Shah allegedly took his passport and other documents, promising to arrange a Dubai work permit instead. Despite repeated assurances, neither the passport nor the promised work permit was returned. The family claims they were cheated of ₹6 lakh.
Police noted that several earlier complaints had already been filed against Shah for similar fraudulent activities. The case is under investigation. DeshGujarat
