Asarva – Udaipur Train to Resume Service from September 21 as Asarva – Agra Cantt Special

Udaipur: The much-awaited Udaipur-Asarwa train is set to return to the tracks from September 21, after being suspended for nearly 15 months. This service, which last operated during the summer of last year, will now run until November 30 as the Agra Cantt–Asarwa Special.

The fully electric train will operate with 21 coaches, providing direct connectivity between Gujarat and Udaipur, a move expected to boost tourist arrivals in the Lake City. The resumption coincides with the start of the tourist season in Rajasthan, which officially kicks off around World Tourism Day on September 27.

According to railway officials, train number 01919 will depart from Agra Cantt at 11:30 PM and arrive in Asarwa at 3:55 PM the next day via Udaipur. On the return leg, train number 01920 will leave Asarwa at 5:50 PM and reach Agra Cantt at 10:20 AM the following morning. The train will halt at Udaipur City Station at 10:45 PM, departing at 10:55 PM.

Railway authorities said that the seasonal operation is aimed at meeting high tourist demand. Last year, the same train service was operated between April and June. DeshGujarat
