IIMA to inaugurate its International Campus in Dubai on Sept 11

New Delhi: After the earlier announcement made in April this year, the Indian Institute of Management will inaugurate its international campus in Dubai tomorrow, September 11. This inauguration will be the major highlight of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan’s two-day visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), which begins today.

On September 11, Pradhan will join UAE Minister of Higher Education Dr. Abdulrahman Al Awar to formally inaugurate IIMA’s Dubai campus. The two ministers are also expected to review ongoing partnerships in the education sector.

The visit aims to strengthen bilateral cooperation in education. During his stay, Pradhan will meet UAE leaders, ministers, policymakers, academics, and representatives of Indian and UAE institutions to advance collaboration in education, innovation, and knowledge exchange.

Later, Pradhan will participate in a roundtable with representatives of Indian higher education institutions based in the UAE. According to the Ministry of Education, the two-day visit on September 10–11 is aimed at promoting academic excellence, fostering innovation, and exploring new avenues of cooperation to meet the aspirations of students and youth in both countries.
