Navsari halt of Gandhinagar – Mumbai Vande Bharat Express from August 23

Navsari: The Ministry of Railways on Thursday announced that it has approved an experimental halt for the 20901/20902 Mumbai Central–Gandhinagar Capital Vande Bharat Express at Navsari station. This decision comes after persistent public demand and careful consideration of passenger convenience.

As per the revised timetable, the Gandhinagar Capital–Mumbai Central Vande Bharat Express (Train No. 20902) will arrive at Navsari at 17:27 hrs and depart at 17:29 hrs from August 23rd. In the return direction, the Mumbai Central–Gandhinagar Capital Vande Bharat Express (Train No. 20901) will reach Navsari at 08:43 hrs and depart at 08:45 hrs from August 24th.

The halt at Navsari has been introduced to cater to passenger demand and is expected to enhance connectivity for commuters from South Gujarat. The official announcement comes about 15 days after Union Jal Shakti Minister and Navsari MP C.R. Patil announced that the semi high-speed train would halt at Navsari station.

With this addition, Navsari becomes the 20th city in Gujarat to be connected by the Vande Bharat Express. DeshGujarat
