Gujarat govt transfers 3 IAS officers in bureaucratic reshuffle

Gandhinagar: The Gujarat government has announced a reshuffle involving three senior IAS officers through a notification issued by the General Administration Department on August 2, 2025.
Mona K. Khandhar, IAS (1996 batch), who was serving as Principal Secretary in the Science & Technology Department, has been transferred and appointed as Principal Secretary to the Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs Department. She replaces Ramesh Chand Meena, IAS.
Ramesh Chand Meena, IAS (1998 batch), who until now held the charge of Principal Secretary in the Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs Department, as well as the additional charge of Principal Secretary, Ports and Transport Department, has now been relieved from his earlier post and appointed as the full-fledged Principal Secretary of the Ports and Transport Department.
Additionally, Ponugumatla Bharathi, IAS (2005 batch), who was serving as Special Commissioner of State Tax in Ahmedabad, has been transferred and appointed as Secretary to the Science & Technology Department, filling the vacancy created by Khandhar’s transfer. DeshGujarat
