98% administrative approvals for new items in Gujarat budget given in 3 months: Govt

Gandhinagar: Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel held a meeting with the senior secretaries of the state government departments to review the progress of the first quarter performance of their departments against the provisions of this year’s budget.

In the meeting, the Finance Department gave details that the expenditure on the implementation of the planned provisions of their budget by various departments of the state government has increased by 23.4 percent in the first quarter compared to the previous year.
Not only this, it was also said that more than 98 percent of the administrative approvals for the new items included in the budget have been given in the first quarter itself.

In this meeting held in the presence of Finance Minister  Kanubhai Desai, the Chief Minister gave guidance for the time-bound work plan of the developed Gujarat Roadmap to keep Gujarat ahead in the resolve of Prime Minister Narendrabhai Modi for a developed India.

He made suggestions to achieve the budget targets by adopting a saturation approach especially in public welfare schemes and providing 100 percent benefits to the needy beneficiaries. DeshGujarat
