Gujarat govt transfers IAS officers; GIFT City gets new MD & CEO

Gandhinagar: In the latest bureaucratic reshuffle, the Gujarat government today appointed 2001-batch IAS officer Kaul Sanjay Moolchand as the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of GIFT City Company Ltd., Gandhinagar. He will serve on deputation for a period of three years, or until further orders, whichever is earlier, from the date he assumes charge.
In another notification, the government announced the transfer of two other IAS officers.
As per the notification issued by the General Administration Department, K.S. Vasava, IAS (SCS:GJ:2013), Chief Executive Officer of Surat Urban Development Authority (SUDA), Surat, has been transferred and appointed as District Development Officer (DDO), Dangs-Ahwa, relieving Shri Patil Anand Ashok, IAS, of the additional charge of that post.
Further, the earlier transfer notification of Suthar Raj Rameshchandra, IAS (RR:GJ:2019), dated June 17, 2025—regarding his posting as DDO, Narmada-Rajpipla—has been cancelled ab initio. Instead, his services have now been placed at the disposal of the Urban Development & Urban Housing Department for appointment as CEO of SUDA, Surat, replacing K.S. Vasava. DeshGujarat
