Operations at Britannia’s Jhagadia plant partially affected due to strike

Bharuch: Britannia Industries announced on Monday that a strike has partially impacted operations at its Jhagadia plant in Gujarat.
The company stated in an exchange filing, “the operations of the Company at its plant located at Jhagadia, Gujarat have been partially affected due to a strike that commenced today. The Company is in continuous discussion with workers to resolve the situation amicably.”
“At present, the impact of this event is being assessed and the Company is managing demand through available resources.,” the exchange filing added.
According to its latest annual report, Britannia operates around a dozen plants across India. The company’s shares closed 0.4% lower on Monday. DeshGujarat
