Ahmedabad Police arrest two Bangladeshi nationals living near Chandola Lake

Ahmedabad: The Isanpur police on Wednesday arrested two Bangladeshi nationals near Chandola Lake for staying illegally in the country. They were detained under the Foreigners Act and later transferred to the city’s Joint Interrogation Centre.
The arrested individuals were identified as Sujon Sheikh (24) and Harman Sheikh (19), both residents of Bengaliwas, Chandola Lake. Sujon hails from Noladanga in Narail district, while Harman is from Bendachaur in Narail district, Bangladesh.
According to police officials, an operation was carried out to identify Bangladeshi nationals living in the Chandola Lake area without valid passports or visas.
