Rashtriya Kirtan Mahotsav in Vadodara to honor Veer Savarkar
December 16, 2024
Vadodara: The Rashtriya Kirtan Mahotsav on one of India’s greatest freedom fighters and social workers, Veer Savarkar, will be held at Manekrao Akhada in Vadodara from 16 to 25 December, between 8 pm and 10.30 pm. The event is organized by Bharat Mata Mandir Maharudra Hanuman Sansthan.
Renowned kirtankars from Maharashtra, including Charudutt Afle, Vishwas Kulkarni, Mohan Kuber, Harshad Joglekar, and Vadodara-based Sanket Bhole, among others, will narrate the stories of Veer Savarkar’s life and works in the Kirtan style. The programme is supported by 25 organizations, including Jumma Dada Vyayam Mandir, and will be inaugurated by Rajmata Shubhangini Devi Raje Gaekwad. The event aims to pay tribute to one of Bharat Mata’s greatest sons and counter the misconceptions allegedly spread against Savarkar by Rahul Gandhi-led Congress party and its cadres. DeshGujarat
