Dakor: A married woman has filed a complaint of sexual abuse at Dakor Police Station, accusing Jalaluddin of taking an indecent photograph of her to blackmail her. The victim claims that the accused, under the pretext of deleting the photo, repeatedly took her to a hotel 4-5 times and sexually assaulted her. Following the complaint, the police arrested the accused within hours.
The 32-year-old woman, who lives in a village in Thasara taluka and runs a cutlery shop, was targeted by Jalaluddin alias Guru alias Gotu Nasrudin Pathan, a resident of Dakor who operates a nearby Sharbat Center. The woman was in a rural area when Jalaluddin took an indecent photo of her and showed it to her. The woman became distressed and asked the accused to delete the image, but he continued to blackmail her.
Later, Jalaluddin took the woman to a hotel in Dakor, where he raped her. The accused sexually assaulted her on four more occasions, all under the pretext of deleting the photo, but he never deleted it. The woman also alleged that Jalaluddin threatened to kill her husband and two sons if she did not comply.
Despite this, the victim found the courage to tell her husband and in-laws about the incident. Today, the woman filed a formal complaint against Jalaluddin at Dakor Police Station. The police have registered the case and are taking legal action.
DYSP of Nadiad Division VR Bajpayee stated that the accused was arrested within hours of the crime being registered. The police are working to produce him in court. The accused allegedly reached the victim’s residence and committed rape. Currently, the police have seized the mobile phone and are collecting evidence related to the case. DeshGujarat
