Cheater steals a brand-new BMW car duping the truck driver in Ahmedabad

Ahmeadad: A cheater who impersonated self as BMW show-room staffer on SG Highway, ran away with a brand-new BMW car. A truck driver who was carrying the car in his truck has filed a police complaint in Sarkhej.

Total 6 BMW cars were loaded in a truck from Chennai on 12 November for Surat and Ahmedabad. Truck’s driver Rajkumar Yadav and cleadner Muhammad Rayan delievered 3 cars in Surat on 18 November, while the other 3 were to be delievered at Gallops Auto House show-room in Makarba near Sarkhej in Ahmedabad. The truck arrived early in the morning at 5.30 am in Ahmedabad, and as the show-room was closed, the driver parked the truck on the road-side and took rest.

At around 8 am a youth came to Rajkumar Yadav and claimed he was a staffer from the BMW show-room. The youth asked Rakumar that the cars should be unloaded at some distance to prevent a traffic jam. The truck was thus taken to the entrance of Blue Lagoon party plot, and one of three BMW cars was unloaded. The youth checked the papers and took the keys of all 3 BMW cars. He then told driver Rajkumar that he would first take one car to the show-room and return soon to take delievery of other two cars.

The youth went away with Rs. 60.46 lakh worth brand-new BMW car and didn’t return for a long time. Driver Rajkumar smelled something fishy and sent his cleaner Muhammad to the BMW show-room to inquire. It was revelead then that the car never reached the show-room and someone duped the truck driver. A police complaint was filed by Rakumar Yadav in Sarkhej Police station.
